Harvey Competes at NCAA Track and Field Championships

May 22 – (OSHKOSH, Wis.) – Junior Brian Harvey (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) of the Carnegie Mellon University men’s track & field team competed at the first day of the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Thursday, May 22 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on the campus of UW-Oshkosh.

Harvey placed seventh in his heat with a time of 3:58.35.  The All-American from the indoor season improved his 2007 preliminary outdoor time by five seconds, but it was not fast enough to qualify him for Saturday's finals.
