Harvey Receives UAA Recognition

Brian Harvey (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Bucknell University Bison Classic and the Carnegie Mellon Tri-Meet.
Harvey registered his second NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time in his second event of the season at the Bison Classic. Competing among a field of runners from all NCAA Divisions, Harvey finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:43.62, the fastest time to date in the UAA and ninth fastest in Division III. Last week Harvey qualified in the 1500.
Earlier in the week, Harvey won the 800-meter run during The Tartans Tri-Meet, posting a personal-best time of 1:53.40, also the fastest UAA time to date.
