UAA Honors Harvey Again

Mar. 19 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University junior Brian Harvey (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) was named the University Athletic Association Men's Track Athlete of the Week after his All-America performance at the 2008 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Ada, Ohio. This marks the second time this year Harvey received the award for his performance on the track.

The junior distance runner claimed All-America honors in the mile run for the second straight year. After posting the second-fastest time in the preliminary heats with a time of 4:16.14, Harvey finished fourth in the 10-runner final with a time of 4:13.10, improving on his eighth-place finish a year ago.
