Harvey and Quinn Qualify for Finals at NCAA Championships

May 24 – (OSHKOSH, Wis.) – Two members of the Carnegie Mellon men’s track & field team competed in the trail run of the 1500 meter race at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Division III Track and Field Championships Thursday, May 24 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on the campus of UW-Oshkosh.

Senior Davey Quinn (Glen Ellyn, Ill./St. Francis Prep) and Sophomore Brian Harvey (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) both qualified for the finals to be ran on Saturday afternoon. Quinn placed fourth in his heat with a time of 3:58.57, while Harvey placed third in his heat with a time of 4:03.75.

The final heat is set for Saturday, May 26 at 1:20 p.m. CT.
