Harvey Becomes First Runner in School History to Compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Brian Harvey (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) has qualified for the NCAA Men’s Track and Field Championships to be held March 9-10 at Rose Hulman Institution of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Harvey will compete in the one mile event. He becomes the first men’s track and field participant to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the history of the program.
Harvey placed second at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships this past weekend in the one mile. He crossed the finish line breaking his own school record, set earlier this season, with a time of 4:13.36.
The one mile preliminaries are set for 4:20 p.m. Friday with the finals to begin at 2:15 p.m., Saturday, March 10.
