Men’s Tennis Defeats Mercyhurst 8-1

Feb. 3 – (ERIE, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis traveled to Erie Pa. this afternoon, Sunday, February 3 to take on Division II opponent Mercyhurst College. The Tartans, ranked 14th in Division III, opened its spring season with an 8-1 victory over the Lakers. The win improves Carnegie Mellon’s dual record to 4-1, as Mercyhurst drops to 0-3.

The Tartans will be back in action Saturday, February 9, as they host West Virginia Wesleyan at 2:30 p.m.  The match is set to take place at the Oxford Athletic Club North.
