#14 Men's Tennis Hands Case an 8-1 Setback

Mar. 1 – (OBERLIN, Ohio) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team traveled to Oberlin, Ohio Saturday, March 1 to play University Athletic Association foe Case Western Reserve in a non-association match-up. The 14th-ranked Tartans came away with a 9-0 win over the Spartans moving their record to 7-2.

Following a sweep in doubles play, five of six Tartans claimed straight set victories in singles. Sophomore James Muliawan (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) highlighted the Cardinal and Gray with a shutout over Mike Peterson at third singles 6-0, 6-0.
