Men's Tennis Starts UAAs With Upset Win
April 21 - (ATLANTA, Ga.) – Carnegie Mellon's men's tennis team opened the University Athletic Association Tournament with a 5-2 upset win over the third seeded and nationally ranked (29th) University of Chicago. The Tartans entered the tournament as the number six seed and move on to play Washington University of St. Louis, seeded second and a round one winner over Brandeis University, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Washington is also ranked in the nation, entering the tournament at number eight.
