Andrew Clearfield Named UAA Athlete of the Week

Mar. 7 - (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Andrew Clearfield (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend. This marks the second time this spring that Clearfield earned Athlete of the Week.

Clearfield registered the only point for the Tartans in a 6-1 dual loss to 11th-ranked Washington & Lee University. Clearfield won his match at second singles in straight sets (6-4, 6-0), then teamed with Stephen Kuhn to post an 8-6 win at second doubles.
