Krzeminski Earns UAA Honors

Oct. 31 - (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University senior David Krzeminski (Grandville, Mich./Grandville) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for his performance over the weekend at the Westminster Relays and against Clarion University.

Krzeminski won two individual events and swam on three winning relays in a two-day period as the Tartans captured the team title at the Westminster College relays and scored a 173-121 victory over NCAA Division II Clarion University the following day.

At Westminster, Krzeminski was part of meet-record performances on the winning 200-yard (1:29.63) and 400-yard (3:13.94) freestyle relays. Against Clarion, he won the 50-yard freestyle (21.91 seconds) and the 100-yard butterfly (51.60) and was part of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay.
