Browne and Hall Named All-Region

Dec. 22 – (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Two Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer students were honored by the NSCAA and the regional coaches for their performance during the 2007 season. Sophomores Ryan Browne (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and Jon Hall (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) each were named to the NSCAA/Adidas All-Mid-Atlantic Regional Third Team.

Brown finished the season with three goals and five assists from his midfield position and was also named to the University Athletic Association Honorable Mention Team. Hall, also a midfielder, scored five goals including both in a 2-1 overtime win against La Roche College. Hall joined Browne on the All-UAA team, receiving second team honors, and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-Region First Team.
