Stats

Sept. 23 - (ALLIANCE, Ohio) – The Carnegie Mellon men’s soccer team traveled to take on the Purple Raiders of Mount Union College on Saturday, September 23, as the Tartans dropped their second straight losing 2-0. The loss moves the Tartans record to 5-2-0, while the Purple Raiders move to 3-4-1.

The Purple Raiders jumped out to an early lead senior Trevor Beach’s shot deflected off the crossbar and fell right to the feet of sophomore Joel Jakuboski, who converted to give the Purple Raiders a 1-0 lead at the 11:30 mark. The Raiders held onto to the lead heading into the break.
