Men’s Soccer Outlasts Geneva 1-0

Sept. 3 - (BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon opened the men’s soccer season with a 1-0 victory over Geneva College Saturday evening. The Tartans start 1-0 as Geneva moves to 0-1 on the young season.

The Tartans lone goal came in the 73rd minute by sophomore Scott Kuppe (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley) assisted by senior Dan Mastalski (Beaver, Pa./Beaver). The Tartans were out shot 8-10.

The Tartans are back in action Wednesday, September 7 as they host Marietta College for a 7:15 p.m. game time in their home season opener.
