Browne Earns ECAC Mid-Atlantic Men’s Soccer Player of the Week Honors

Sept. 20 - (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) Carnegie Mellon University junior forward Jonathan Browne (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Mid-Atlantic Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for his performance last week in leading the Tartans to a 2-0 mark.

Browne led the Tartans to victories over Washington & Jefferson (1-0) and Juniata (4-0). Browne accounted for three of the Tartans five goals last week including the lone Tartan goal in the 1-0 victory over Washington & Jefferson. After being held scoreless in the first game of the year, Browne has scored at least one goal in the last three games and leads the team with four goals and eight points. He needs just one more goal to tie the All-time leader for goals scored at Carnegie Mellon in a career.
