Bazin Earns ECAC Goaltender of the Week Honors

Oct. 11 - (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) Carnegie Mellon University freshman goaltender Matthew Bazin (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Delbarton) was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Mid-Atlantic Men’s Soccer Goaltender of the Week for his performance last week in leading the Tartans to a 1-0 victory at Washington University.

Bazin recorded his sixth shutout of the year and improved his record to 6-1-1 as he recorded two saves in the Tartans victory. He currently leads the nation in goals against average (0.12) and is second in save percentage (.955).
