Timmons Honored By UAA

Sept. 24 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University junior Alex Timmons (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Chagrin Falls) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Golf Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Lamkin Fall Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.

Timmons carded rounds of 74 and 69 to finish at 143, one over par for the tournament.  He tied for third individually in leading the Tartans to a second place finish at the par-71 Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio. Timmons’ second round score of 69 was a collegiate best.
