Timmons Honored By UAA

Apr. 10 - (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Alex Timmons (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Golf Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Westminster Invitational.

Timmons garnered individual medalist honors with a three-over-par 76 in leading the Tartans to a first place finish at the Westminster College Titan Invitational at the par-72 New Castle Country Club in New Castle, PA. It was his first collegiate medalist honor and third top-ten finish on the year.
