Sivek Honored by UAA

Oct. 15 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior fullback Travis Sivek (Traverse City, Mich./St. Francis)  was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Offensive Athlete of the Week following his performance in the Tartans 20-17 loss to Case Western Reserve on Saturday.

In the 22nd Annual Academic Bowl, Sivek rushed for a season-high in the setback. He finished the afternoon with 141 yards on 37 carries and scored the Tartans lone offensive touchdown. He currently is the university's all-time leading rusher with 3,612 career yards.

This marks the seventh time in his career that he has been honored with the award.
