Bodnar Honored by UAA

Oct. 23 – (ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior linebacker Jonathan Bodnar (Cheswick, Pa./Deer Lakes) was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Defensive Athlete of the Week following his performance in the Tartans victory at Chicago on Saturday.

Bodnar headed a defense that held Chicago to 73 yards rushing in a 21-0 victory.  Bodnar led the defense with six tackles while recording one of the Tartans’ four interceptions.  He also had one tackle for a loss of two yards.

He ranks second on the team with 48 tackles and two weeks ago recorded a career-high 11 tackles against Case Western Reserve.
