Sivek and Adams Earn UAA Athlete of the Week Honors

Travis Sivek (Traverse City, Mich./St. Francis) was honored on the offensive side of the ball, as senior punter
Matt Adams (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) was honored for special teams.
Sivek finished the afternoon with 131 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns. With Sivek’s three scores he moved into 20th place on the NCAA Division III scoring list with 348 points for his career. He also needs 24 yards to reach the 4,000 yard milestone for his career.
Adams had three punts that averaged 48.3 yards, including a long of 63, in the Tartans victory. He placed two of his punts inside the Bison 20-yard line marking the 16th and 17th time this season.
This is the fourth time this season Adams has received the award and second for Sivek. For Sivek, he shares this week’s honor with Shaun Nicely of Case Western Reserve.
