Sept. 27 - (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - Carnegie Mellon sophomore tight end Derek Wisnieski (Indiana, Pa.) was recently honored by D3football.com. Wisnieski was choosen to the week four Team of the Week for his performance in the Tartans 34-14 win over Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday, September 23.

In the win, Wisnieski accounted for 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Tartans first touchdown of the day came via Wisnieski's 77-yard reception on the team's second drive and third play from scrimmage.

The 6-4, 230 pound TE brought something to the game the Tartans haven't seen since 2003. His 131 yards was the first time a receiver at Carnegie Mellon broke the century mark since Chris Kay caught eight passes for 111 yards on Nov. 8 against Washington (Mo.) University.
