Lewis Receives UAA Honors

Nov. 15 - (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) Carnegie Mellon University junior defensive back Aaron Lewis (Englewood, Ohio/Northmont) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Defensive Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Lewis registered career- and game-highs with 22 tackles, 12 of them solo, in the Tartans’ 50-48 triple overtime loss to 18th ranked Thiel College. Lewis also recorded one forced fumble and made two tackles for lost yardage in finishing the season as the Association leader in tackles (115 - 61 solo) and second in interceptions (six).
