Adams Earns UAA Recognition

Oct. 17 - (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) Carnegie Mellon University sophomore punter Matt Adams (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Special Team Athlete of the Week for his performance Saturday, October 15, against the University of Chicago.

Adams averaged 41.8 yards on eight punts, including a long of 57 yards and two inside the 20-yard line, in a 35-6 loss to host University of Chicago. For the season, Adams is averaging 38 yards, with eight punts falling inside the 20-yard line.
