Adams Earns UAA Recognition

Nov. 8 - (PITTSBURGH, Pa.) Carnegie Mellon University sophomore punter Matt Adams (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Scioto) was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Special Team Athlete of the Week for his performance Saturday, November 5.

Adams averaged 44.1 yards on seven punts, with a long of 53 yards, in a 30-15 victory at Bethany College (WV). Five of Adams’ punts were inside the 20-yard line. For the season he has 14 punts inside the 20-yard line and an average of 39.3 yards per punt.
