Harvey Honored by ECAC

Oct. 17 – (CENTERVILLE, Ma) – Carnegie Mellon University s junior Brian Harvey (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday, October 13.

Harvey ran a time of 25:39.96 on the 8k course, placing him second among a field of 230 competitors, but tallied first place points in the standings after finishing behind an unattached runner. His time was 10 seconds better than his nearest competitor and led the Tartans to the team title, topping 22 teams.
