The BFA program has 4 areas of concentration, which allow students to pursue a particular area of media interest, or to combine media interests, offering the possibility to develop a specialized or a hybrid practice.
A concentration consists of 4 advanced studios in any of these 4 designated areas.
- Drawing, Painting, Printmaking and Photography [DP3]
- Sculpture, Installation and Site-Work [SIS]
- Electronic and Time Based Media [ETB]
- Contextual Practice [CP]
* Contextual Practice, which is not media based, engages students in the study and production of socially engaged art projects that respond to specific public contexts and audiences. Contextual practice classes can be stand-alone or may be incorporated into any of the 3 media areas.
