Shalini Ramesh Wins Steinbrenner Award

Congratulations to Doctoral BPD student, Shalini Ramesh who received a 2012-2013 Steinbrenner Institute Graduate Fellowship for her research titled “Urban Energy Information Modeling: An Interactive Platform to Communicate Simulation-Based High Fidelity Building Energy Analysis using Geographical Information Systems (GIS).”

Shalini will present a seminar on the results of her work to the Carnegie Mellon community in Spring 2013. Additionally, Shalini will also offer a poster presentation on her research at the Steinbrenner Institute Environmental Research Poster Session in April 2013.

The Steinbrenner Institute Graduate Fellowship program has been established to provide support to eligible graduate students at Carnegie Mellon involved in environmentally-focused, interdisciplinary research projects on topics aligned with the strategic focus areas of the Steinbrenner Institute.
