Fallingwater Education Internship

Fallingwater, the architectural masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is seeking a summer intern to work with Fallingwater education programs.

Position Duration: Summer of 2013 (schedule will include working some weekends and holidays)

Location: Mill Run, PA

Job Description: This is a unique opportunity to work at a world-renowned architectural site. The intern will be responsible for supporting the supervisor of school programs, assisting in the management of volunteers, and supporting the supervisor of residency programs. In addition, the intern will be trained to interpret the house and site as part of the Fallingwater guide staff.

Qualifications: The candidate should be currently working on a degree in architecture, interior architecture, art history or art and museum education. Knowledge of architecture, lesson planning, and teaching a plus. A final project, weekly reports, and a written journal will be required.
