PechaKucha Night Vol.10: Student & Faculty Edition

Call for Entries!

Deadline for submissions, Friday, January 27, 2012, 5:00 pm.

Join the Pittsburgh Chapters of the AIA and AIGA on February 2, 2012 at the AVA Lounge in East Liberty for PechaKucha Night Vol. 10: Student & Faculty Edition!

PechaKucha Night, devised in Tokyo as an event for young people to meet, network, and show their work, has turned into a worldwide celebration, with events taking place in hundreds of cities around the globe, including right here in Pittsburgh!  Drawing from its name, the Japanese term for "chit-chat", PechaKucha relies on a presentation format based on a simple idea: 20 images X 20 seconds.  It is a dynamic presentation style where presenters have a total of six minutes and 40 seconds to match words and images.

For the 10th volume of PechaKucha Night Pittsburgh, we will be featuring exclusively the work of students and faculty members.  If you are a student or member of a faculty, we encourage you to submit a presentation!  PechaKucha Night is a casual, fun event and would be a great way for students and faculty to hone their presentation skills in front of a live and engaged audience.

To become a presenter at PechaKucha Night Vol.10, please email a brief description of your presentation, along with one or two slides, to info@aiapgh.org.  Submissions must be in by 5:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2012.

We look forward to seeing everyone's presentations!
