Two Carnegie Mellon Students Recognized by John Stewardson Competition Jury

Matthew Huber and Douglas Farrell

Philadelphia March 2nd, 2011

We are happy to announce that Carnegie Mellon University student Matthew Huber received an Honorable Mention for his entry in the 2011 John Stewardson Memorial Fellowship in Architecture Competition. This year the jury only selected two Honorable Mentions. 1st Prize was awarded to a student from the University of Pennsylvania.

The jury also recognized Carnegie Mellon's Douglas Farrell as one of the 5 runners up.

The competition organizer, Mr. John Hubert, recognized Carnegie Mellon directly in this year's closing comments saying that since Carnegie Mellon's recent commitment (after a few years absence) to the competition, the work continues to be stronger each year.

The competition boards will be on display at Carnegie Mellon University the week of March 28 – April 1.
