NCARB Campus Events

Wednesday, 16 March | 4:30-6:00pm | CFA 214

As part of the Creative Arts and Opportunities Conference, please join me in welcoming a representative of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Rachel Allegra Kros, AIA, NCARB, to the School of Architecture this Wednesday, March 23 for a series of presentations about the architectural profession and becoming a registered Architect.  This is a unique opportunity as NCARB does not visit the School of Architecture every year.  In the past several years, a lot has changed with regards to the Intern Development Program (IDP) and the Architect Registration Exam (ARE) that you should be aware of as you continue your internship search.

ALL students are encouraged to attend the first presentation at 4:30pm to learn more about important career information pertaining to architectural professional licensing presented by the source - NCARB.

Following the first presentation at 6:00pm, you are welcome to attend a joint networking reception with the Pittsburgh AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF).  This is a great opportunity to meet young professionals and learn about YAF.

Beginning at 7:00pm, the final event will be a presentation for young professionals about the Intern Development Program (IDP) and the Architect Registration Exam (ARE).  ALL students are encouraged to attend.
