Watercolor Lecture and Workshop

Friday, 26 March and Saturday, 27 March

The School of Architecture welcomes Joe Skibba from Urban Design Associates to present a Watercolor Lecture and Workshop on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27.  The lecture on Friday, March 26 will present an introduction to the utilization of watercolor technique in drawing and representation.  The lecture will take place from 5:00-6:30pm in MMCH A14.  The accompanying workshop on Saturday, March 27 will include a demonstration of methods and hands-on instruction. The workshop will be held  in MMCH 103from 10:00am-3:00pm, and lunch will be served.

Participation in the lecture and workshop is free to architecture students; however, students will need to provide their own materials.  Attached you will find details regarding the workshop and a list of all necessary materials.  We recommend that you purchase supplies in groups to share as you will be seated at workstations of 4-5 students.  Discounts are available at the Top Notch art store on Craig Street (see attachment).  

If you are interested in registering for lecture and workshop, please contact Alexis McCune or sign up on the registration sheet posted outside the main office in CFA 201 by Wednesday, March 24.  It is important to note that due to the nature of the workshop, if you register - you are required to attend.  This workshop will be held in conjunction with Doug Cooper's Color Drawing course.
