"Water Matters" Conference

03 June, David L. Lawrence Convention Center

In October 2009 Pittsburgh was selected as the North American site for UN World Environment Day.  More than 100 UN World Environment Day activities and events are taking place in our region in the six weeks leading up to UN World Environment Day on June 5.  The culminating event is a conference on June 3.
The Steinbrenner Institute has had a significant role in organizing the UN World Environment Day "Water Matters" Conference which will be held on THURSDAY, JUNE 3 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.  Please consider attending.
The Steinbrenner Institute will pay the $25 registration fee for any Carnegie Mellon student who would like to attend.  Interested students should send an email to Steinbrenner Institute administrative assistant Daniel Shapiro by May 14.  A commitment to attend the conference is expected by any student who registers through the Steinbrenner Institute.
