Washington Semester Program

Join us for our final information session of the semester for the CMU Washington Semester Program! Carnegie Mellon undergraduates from any course of study who would value first-hand policy experience are invited to apply to the university's Washington Semester Program, sponsored by Carnegie Mellon's International Relations and Politics Program. Through this semester-long program, students live, work, and study in Washington, D.C., coming into direct contact with political, business, and community leaders and the most pressing political and policy issues of the day. Carnegie Mellon's International Relations and Politics Program will sponsor policy events and forums in Washington for Carnegie Mellon students participating in the program. 

Students with strong academic records who are accepted to the program are also eligible to apply for a Friedman Semester Fellowship Grant, which helps to defray the expenses of the Washington semester.

Open to all undergraduate majors!
