Looking for Something to do During Break?

Travel to Washington DC

Concerned about science-based policy for America’s energy future and climate change?
 
Sustainable Earth and the new Carnegie Mellon chapter of Scientists & Engineers for America are teaming up to provide students a three-day study tour NEXT WEEK in Washington, DC. March 10-12, come learn about science policy in action, science policy careers, and what students can do to advance a national agenda for clean energy. The trip will include visits to:
 
-The U.S. National Academies

-Congress

-Networking with fellows from the American Association for the Advancement of Science

-And more!

Space will be limited, so RSVP your name, major, and year (e.g. sophomore, senior, masters student) to vjs@andrew.cmu.edu by Friday, March 5th if you would like to attend. To reserve your spot, you will also need to provide a $25 deposit. Transportation to and from DC and lodging will be provided.
