School of Music Showcases Student Composers

Maestro Ronald Zollman leads the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic in a program to include three world premieres by CMU student composers during an evening of contemporary and classical music at 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24 in Oakland’s Carnegie Music Hall. Concertmaster Emma Steele will also be featured on Prokofiev’s masterful Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor.
