Qatar Green Building Council Reviews Projects of Pittsburgh Study Abroad Students at CMUQ
Founding members of the Qatar Green Building Council met with Pittsburgh study-abroad fourth-year architecture students and faculty Rami el Samahy and Kelly Hutzell to review the student's work on Thursday, March 18. QGBC members Gordon Jack, Resident Director of Atkins; Sandra Dold, Senior Architect & Sustainability Specialist at AECOM Middle East; Paul Burrow, Chairman of Research & Innovation at Qatar Green Building Council; Dr. Alex Amato, Associate at Davis Langdon; and Hani Hawamdek, Head of Electromechanical Department at Arab Engineering Bureau, met with the students to review and discuss the progress of their architecture design projects. The study-abroad Systems Integration Studio is focusing on the retrofit of an existing villa to house the Qatar Green Building Council Headquarters.
