A Special Event in the Purnell Center this Week

You have all probably heard about the special event that is about to take place in the Purnell Center this coming week  - Playground.  This is the week during which we allow our students to explore any kind of theatre that they wish, encouraging them to expand their skills, knowledge and talent and attempt something new.  We have 57 projects this year, including installations, that span every kind of theatre you can imagine and using all kinds of spaces in our building.  We would love to have you join us for any or all of this event  (although it can be exhausting!).  I am glad to say that students in all years and all options are participating this year, including once again DeVaughn Robinson, our “resident 8th grade playwright”.

Performances begin Thursday evening, March 25 at 6:30pm and continue all day on Friday and Saturday.
If you see something specific that sounds intriguing, let me know and I will be sure that tickets are set aside.  I am glad to say that most shows will be “sold out”.  If you just want to wander over and take a chance on something, that is also just fine with us.
