John Folan Wins Two ACSA Awards
2009-2010 ACSA Awards Announced
John Folan and the Urban Design Build Studio won the 2010 ACSA Collaborative Practice Award for the Hamnett Homestead Sustainable Living Center (HHSLC) in Wilkinsburg. The ACSA Collaborative Practice Award serves to recognize programs that demonstrate how faculty, students, and community/civic clients work to realize common objectives.
John Folan awarded the 2010 ACSA Faculty Design Award for the Armadillo Residence which was built in Tucson, AZ. The ACSA Faculty Design Award recognizes those that represent theoretical investigations advancing the general understanding of the discipline of architecture. The awards recognize exemplary built and unbuilt work that reflect upon practice and research.
John will attend the National Conference in March to present both projects and receive the awards.
