At 1:30pm, Mr Balmond will hold an informal discussion at his exhibition in the Forum Gallery; all interested students are invited to attend. Public lecture begins at 3:30pm, with reception to follow.
Cecil Balmond is Deputy Chairman of Ove Arup and Director and Founder of Arup's Advanced Geometry Unity. A visionary structural engineer, he has collaborated on projects with Koolhaas, Siza, Ito and Libeskind. His work H-edge is currently on exhibit at the Carnegie Museum of Art's Forum Gallery.
All events take place at the Carnegie Museum of Art Theater, 4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh.
