Build Your Own PC Workshop

Saturday, 20 March, 10:00am, CFA 214

The School of Architecture is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for Architecture students. On 20 March we will hold a one day workshop for students interested in building their own high-performance PC.  The idea for the workshop comes from conversations in SAC, and will complement the monitor project that will start during the summer of 2010.

The School of Architecture will purchase parts and lead students through building their PC. Students will be responsible for the cost of the parts and any software (including a Windows license) they wish to put on the machine. Students will have to provide their own monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Payment in full will be required approximately two weeks before the workshop. Checks are the only form of payment that will be accepted. We are unable to charge student accounts. There will be no refunds once payment is made unless the School of Architecture has to cancel the workshop.

A check for $900 payable to Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture is due to Diana Martin (CFA 201) no later than 5pm on Thursday, March 4.

Please rsvp to Kim Daboo indicating your intention to participate as soon as possible.

Please note:  The School of Architecture accepts no liability or responsibility for support after the workshop.
