Third-year Students Represent SoArch in All University Orchestra Concert

Wednesday, 07 April at 8:00pm

School of Architecture Students, Shawn Cencer, Annemarie Malbon & Laura Maund will represent third-year architects in the All University Orchestra Concert on Wednesday, 07 April at 8:00pm.

Admission is free!

AUO's premier event of the year, this concert will feature the AUO and our Concertmaster, Laura Maund, in Rimsky-Korsakov's *Scheherazde, *the String Theory chamber orchestra in Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 and Mozart's Overture to Idomeneo conducted by our Assistant Conductor, Deanna Tham.  The AUO brass ensemble (conducted by Chris Rose), and Flute Choir (conducted by Andrew Bova) will also perform.

The All University Orchestra, now in its 12th season, is entirely student-run and open to all members of the Carnegie Mellon University community.  Currently, the AUO is made up of over 80 members including undergraduates and graduate students from all 7 colleges, alumni, staff, and friends of Carnegie Mellon - all dedicated to making music an important part of their CMU experience.  For the past 8 years, AUO has been under the baton of Music Director Maria Sensi Sellner.

We would be honored if you would come out to support all of our dedicated members and enjoy an evening of great music.  We appreciate your support and hope to see you on Wednesday!
