IDP and Professional Development Office Hours
Thursdays from 1:30-4:30pm with Alexis McCune in CFA 201Did you have an internship this summer? Do you want to learn more about becoming an Architect or about beginning the Intern Development Program (IDP) as a current Undergraduate Student? Come visit my office, and let's chat!
During the Fall 2012 Semester, I will be hosting IDP and Professional Development Office Hours on Thursdays from 1:30-4:30pm in my office in CFA 201. You are welcome to drop-in or make an appointment within that timeframe to speak with me. If you are unable to meet at that time, we can schedule a time that is convenient for you. As the IDP Educator Coordinator, I am happy to discuss the professional architectural licensure process, answer IDP Questions or submit Eligibility Forms, or review your resumes or portfolios. If you have questions about IDP, please review the IDP 2.0 Guidelines on the NCARB website prior to our meeting.
If you are just beginning the job search, you will want to first consult with the Carnegie Mellon University Career & Professional Development Center to get started with TartanTrak, resume and cover letter writing, and information about pursuing employment opportunities.
For more information about finding a job and professional development, please consult pages 22&23 of the 2012-2013 School of Architecture Undergraduate Student Handbook that each student will receive by the end of the week and available on the SoArch website.
