Interested in Working for Mozilla?
Attend the Career Fair on 20 September
Firefox is used by over 400 million people as their window onto the Web, and is now exceeding 30% market share. But what is remarkable about Firefox is not its success, but the way a distributed global community of contributors have organized to effectively compete with corporations like Microsoft, Apple and Google. Alex Faaborg will discuss the design philosophy at Mozilla, the unique process of coordinating user experience design in an open source environment, and the future of Firefox's user interface.
Time: 8:30 - 9:30 pm on Tuesday, 9/20
Place: Wean Hall 5403
Food and drinks will be provided.
Mozilla currently has a very small design team, and we are looking for top CMU students to join us. Your design work will have an immediate impact on a product used by hundreds of millions of people, and you will be able to work in the open, showing your best ideas to the world in real time.
We're looking for talented students and CMU grads to join the UX team, so please stop by our booth at the TOC on 9/20. We will also be interviewing candidates on 9/21 so if you are unable to attend the career fair and are interested in full-time employment or an internship with Mozilla, please send your resume and cover letter and/or introductory e-mail to Kimber Schlegelmilch.
