'Seaside at 30' will look at the founding of this seminal work in the history of urban design - the planning, the creation and testing of the code, and early building designs. It will examine the successes and failures of Seaside by bringing in the architects, planners, and community organizers who created it. The discussions will address the ongoing influence of Seaside, examine its role in New Urbanism, discuss issues facing traditional urban design, and look to the future of the livable city.
