Join the conversation!
PechaKucha Night, devised in Tokyo as an event for young people to meet, network, and show their work, has turned into a massive celebration with events happening in hundreds of cities around the globe, inspiring creatives worldwide - including Pittsburgh!  Drawing from its name, the Japanese term for "chit-chat", PechaKucha relies on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images X 20 seconds. It is a dynamic presentation style where presenters have a total of six minutes and 40 seconds to match words and images.

For the 9th volume of PechaKucha Night Pittsburgh, we are trying something a little different.  We are adding the option of using a theme for your presentation.  The theme is, "Architecture. Experience it!" and if you choose to run with it, we want you to be as conceptual as you want to be!  Have fun and think about architecture, the built environment, whatever it may mean to you and how you experience it.

Remember, PKN is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of AIGA or AIA to participate or attend the event. Get great exposure for yourself and your work! Meet and mingle and most of all have fun!

Interested in presenting?  Email info@aiapgh.org with a brief description of your presentation, one image that you will be including in your presentation and your name, email and daytime telephone number.
