cityLAB Seeking Assistant Experiment Coordinator

Student must have Federal Work-study eligibility

cityLAB is a do tank, not a think tank. We perform experiments with the city as our laboratory. Experiments are chosen to seed economic development, attract talent, create a buzz and effect positive change in the city, from both inside and out. cityLAB is currently working on several experiments – the 6% Place and Pittsburgh Treasure Maps.

The Assistant Experiment Coordinator would be involved in many aspects of these experiments, including unique mapping projects, video-taping and interviewing community members, helping to organize community meetings, writing, photographing, designing and blogging.

Computer experience should include Apple proficiency, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator at a minimum. Basic HTML and CSS, along with Wordpress experience are also useful. Strong writing, problem solving and critical thinking skills are essential.
