TODAY (9/23), 3:00pm, Hammerschlag Patio
IF:- You’re interested in building performance but aren’t sure what an AHU is, what’s inside one, and how its size affects building design
- You think water conservation is important and have never seen the inside of a cooling tower
- You’re curious what a chiller looks like and how a district chiller system feeds multiple building
- You might not recognize an energy recovery ventilator if it sat next to you in class
In just 90 minutes, you’ll learn by seeing HVAC equipment and campus (district) heating and cooling infrastructure. The tours is led by
Marty Altschul, University Engineer and tour guide extraordinaire.
