Monday, October 11 - Tips & Techniques for Presenting Yourself to Employers

Connect with alumni in advance through LinkedIn, and give them access to your resume
Build your career network by meeting alumni and discussing their experiences
Participate in site visits
Submit your resume to the Network New York resume book
 
We are also in the process of coordinating site visits with organizations in the New York area. The site visits will be posted and available for student sign-up in the schedule section of the Network New York website as they are confirmed.
 
Who Can Attend?
Network Nights attract undergraduate and master’s students, and alumni from all of the colleges
and interdisciplinary programs within Carnegie Mellon along with potential employers.
 
A chartered bus provides affordable round-trip transportation between campus and New York.
Network New York registration cost is $20.00.
Optional bus transportation cost is $45.00 round trip.

Registration with cash or check is also available the Heinz Career Services Office in HBH A002.

Carnegie Mellon Network Nights are informal after-work receptions bringing students together with alumni and employers in major geographical regions. They are generally held during breaks, allowing you to attend multiple receptions.
