Transportation

The mobility of the project was essential as part of our proof of concept. In increasing awareness of water conservation as well as a demonstrative tool for the region, The PURIFLUME needed the capacity to travel. The PURIFLUME in transit to CMU deployment, June 22 2012.

Several steps were necessary for the project to travel such as the rear jacks were covered with deattachable pieces and by the entry stair. Image shows the deattaching of piece obscuring one jack.

The jacks would have to be cranked up for travel and then cranked back level when deployed on site.

Additionally the stairs would need to be transported to site. In this case using a Ford truck bed.

The final project in its first move; moving out of Construction Junction.
